Our Ukraine response is conducted in association with partner organisations including IOM and Helping Irish Hosts
We promote and manage goodwill from the Irish Public in the form of offers of accommodation for those who are fleeing conflict.
We operate multiple programmes in association with the Irish Government, assisting those in need of protection when they arrive in Ireland.
More information about our programming is below:
Community Sponsorship Ireland
The Irish Red Cross Community Sponsorship Ireland programme was established in 2018 under the Irish Refugee Protection Programme (IRPP), as a complementary integration and resettlement stream, to the traditional state-centred model.
Restoring Family Links
The Irish Red Cross Restoring Family Links Service helps people in Ireland to re-establish contact with immediate family members after separation due to armed conflict, political upheaval, natural disasters, migration and other humanitarian crisis.
Resettlement Program
The goal of the Irish Red Cross resettlement programme is to enable refugees in Ireland to integrate into Irish society and achieve their potential. The Irish Red Cross has been providing support in this regard to the Irish Government since 2015.
